When I wake up in the morning after a good nights sleep I can measure almost 6’2″ at times, on the other hand if I’ve had an action packed, long day on my feet I barely reach the 6′ mark! Does that surprise you, it shouldn’t. Standing all day, putting pressure on your spinal discs joints, and vertebrae causes your body to “squish”. On the other hand laying allows your body to expand and relax.
Also, your feet are bigger at night because the weight of your body has been compressing them all day, so the next time you buy shoes, it might be wise to fit them later in the evening!
